Times flies really quickly, in a blink of an eye, we’re already in April. But I have to say that 2010 is a great year. In only a short span of four months, personally, I’ve learned, changed, developed many things in life since the disastrous 2009.
Looking back, I’m so grateful to God for His grace and mercy over my life. He’s God, always faithful even though we’re faithless and unfaithful at times. Because of His virtues and character, I began to see how much I have fallen short and how much I need Him to come into my life to do a renovation.
There is a legend saying, the older you are, the harder it is for you to change.It is true to a large extent, but I believe that as long as i avail myself to be broken by God, I’ll be humble, obedient and change. Bill Wilson says, God still uses wounded soldiers…I am so glad that He does. =D
This season, I can’t believe how much God has changed my thought pattern, my perspective towards issues and my heart. I know He did, because of the minor testing of my heart’s intent with every individual matter related or unrelated to me. He reveals and draws a clear line between an ugly heart and one that’s of godly intent. Hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit is my trusted guide whenever there’s no one beside me. I thank God for His Word which shows me how to live and pray, so that I may walk in His ways, in obedience.
There’s another two people I am eternally grateful to secondary to God - my Pastors, Ps How and Ps Lia. Though I don’t speak much nor talk much about it, but I am so privileged to know them personally and be part of their life, and they, a major part of me. I think of them almost everyday…if not for them, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
I can speak and write good english now…because Ps Lia put me through English tuition when I needed them most.
I am able to play the guitar and worship lead…because Ps Lia taught me all of it, and everything I now know with much patience, endurance and love.
I have comfortable clothes to wear now…because Ps Lia taught me how to dress up properly when I look shag in clothes that are either too big or too small for me. There are many clothes she blessed me with which I still keep from the first one to the last one…though I can’t wear them anymore..
I have Business degree now because Pastors believe in me and supported me through my education when my family wasn’t able to.
I can eat well all my youth because Pastors love me and gave to me out of their own pocket money.
I can say that I traveled to other countries as far as Sweden, because Pastors love me and want me to see the world outside of Singapore, otherwise, I’ll have no opportunity to do so.
I am able to stand strong in the wilderness because I constantly hear Pastors’ voices in my mind and heart…hearing their belief in me, hearing their encouragement to me and hearing their counsel….just like Margaret Court hears her coach’s voice echoing in her mind and heart.
There are millions of things I am eternally grateful to Pastors for. They are more than Pastors to me, they are my spiritual parents, my best friends, my coach, my Generals whom I will follow the rest of my life. Deep in my heart, I just want to grow up and take care of my Pastors, work alongside them in church and be a blessing to them…building God the best church we can ever build together with them and my friends whom I grew up with.
I love my God, I love my friends, I love my church, I love my life.
Dreaming…I believe with God, all things are possible. This dream will carry me to it one day.

Tumblr - it’s successful!
This week is such an awesome week!
1) Ps Kong is gonna preach in all three services at HOGC!!! Bring a friend (:
2) I’ll be having my third interview tomorrow. it’s more or less confirmed. I’m excited for work and it will be good this time round.
3) Project presentation is on Thursday!!! Gosh. I’m really rushing out the project report and ppt by tmrw night. Hang on for a couple of days, and it’ll be over!
4) I caught up with three friends from overseas…people whom i’ve not seen for years! Skype is cool.
5) I’ll be singing at YYC this week! It’s been a while since i last step into the place… God, your praises will always be on my lips.
6) I’ve been away from home for a couple of days. Miss my parents, but also love the feeling of being alone…and with God.
It’ll be an awesome week! I’m excited.
Been worshipping with the song “Yahweh” by Hillsong. The presence of God was so real. All I can say is…”He shall and will reign forever in my heart, my mind and my life…I look to Yahweh, Yahweh..”
He’s an awesome God.
